here is a new matte painting I did for fun this weekend.

At first I want to paint a pretty inspired painting from Avatar with the flying rocks/mountains. But I changed the story of this picture more to my own one. It shows the power of a gravitation of a sun. so you see the destruction power of it on a earth.

I hope you enjoy it.

I recall the wonderful artwork of Roger Dean for the Yes-songs albums back in the 1970's . But this is nicely done . I think there are even very old fairy tales with floating mountains in them .
