ouh, looong time no update, so here is a little self-portrait from today. It's my very first self portrait I did in photoshop

I spend around 4 hrs on my portrait and it was a lot of fun

My anatomy sucks a bit in some areas, but I want to get it better in the next one!!!!

Make sure to keep the horizontal planes of your features aligned. Your eyes have a nice diagonal perspective, while your mouth appears much more horizontal. Additionally, I think that ear could be rendered a bit further, just to match the rest of the painting.

Your shadows and shading are awesome, especially those around the right-most eye and corner of the mouth. Your highlights and light areas are well-defined and really bring dimension to the face as a whole.

Overall, very nice~ Infinitely better than I could do freehand or in color.
